Chia seeds are loaded with Omega 3’s, protein, fiber and phytonutrients, and a nutritious addition to raw brownies!
Ingredients:
-2 Cups Walnuts or Pecans (or 1 cup of each)
-1 Cup Firmly Packed Medjool Dates Pitted
– 1/2 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
– 2 Tbs of chia seeds
-2 Tsp Vanilla
– 2 Tsp Water (or more if needed)
– 1 Dash Himilayan Pink salt
– 1 Tsp Cinnamon (or more if desired)
– Shredded Coconut (optional)
Directions:
Place nuts in food processor with S-blade and process until finely ground. Add the rest of the ingredients except water and process until mixture begins to stick together. Gradually add water until sticky.
Option 1) Spread into 9×12 dish lined with parchment paper. Place in refrigerator to set. Cut into squares and garnish with fresh berries, chopped pecans…. or eat as is!
Option 2) Roll into balls and Roll in shredded coconut

Just made these today. I was tempted to add more than 2 scoops of Mila I like it so much 🙂 I also added some other stuff I had laying around and was inspired to mix in: cacao nibs (instead of powder), sprouted buckwheat, shatavari, mesquite powder, and coconut cream. I had less dates, so I added half a banana and some honey as a substitute. They came out kinda more like blondies, and not too sweet. Thanks for the delicious inspiration! <3 <3
